Maya Oyarbide-Sanchez, LCPC (pronouns: she/her/ella) currently serves as the Wellness Program Manager at RefugeeOne – the largest Refugee resettlement agency in Chicago. 

Since graduating with her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology in 2013, she has developed an expertise in providing therapeutic services to those who have experienced trauma, across the lifespan. Maya has worked with survivors of domestic violence, children who have experienced various forms of abuse and neglect, survivors of sexual assault, and survivors of political torture/oppression. Maya is bilingual in English/Spanish and has focused her career on working with immigrant and refugee populations.
