A comprehensive online course that CIMH created in partnership with Anne and Robert L Hurie Children’s Hospital and the University of Chicago Crown Family School. The Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) funded this project.
Support for Immigrant Youth and Families in Illinois
Developed by CIMH and Lurie Children’s Hospital’s Center for Childhood Resilience, this updated resource packet offers critical support for immigrant, refugee, migrant, asylum-seeking, and other newly arriving families during a time of heightened uncertainty.
The packet includes information on available benefits regardless of immigration status, strategies for professionals working with immigrant youth, guidance for parents and caregivers, and key crisis resources.
